Randy Karraker

You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who knows more about St. Louis sports, or sports in general, than Randy Karraker. Randy has been part of the St. Louis sports media for more than two decades, but his super-fandom started years before as an usher for both the Cardinals and Blues.

“My favorite sports moment was the first NFL playoff game played in St. Louis, when the Rams scored on their first offensive play against Minnesota, a 77-yard touchdown pass from Kurt Warner to Isaac Bruce,” Randy says. “That’s followed closely by Mark McGwire’s 62nd home run on September 8, 1998 against the Cubs.”

Randy’s also involved in several St. Louis charities, including his annual golf tournament benefiting Every Child’s Hope. You can hear him holding court on The Opening Drive weekday mornings from 7-10 a.m. on 101 ESPN.

Brooke Grimsley

Brooke Grimsley was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN but now considers herself a St. Louisan after spending the last five years here serving as a sports anchor and reporter at KMOV-TV. She attended Middle Tennessee State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism. From there, she picked up her first gig working on the 3HL show on 1045 The Zone in Nashville. She then moved to Arkansas to cover the Razorbacks as a sports reporter and anchor at KFSM.

Growing up she played competitive tennis throughout her school years, regularly traveling to participate in tournaments. She took her passion for tennis and sports and channeled it into a career in sports broadcasting.

While attending MTSU, Brooke worked for the Blue Raiders football team assisting coaches and players. Brooke also served as the play-by-play announcer for various MTSU live sporting events, including volleyball, soccer, and basketball.

Brooke enjoys spending time with her dog Stevie Nicks and playing tennis in her spare time.

Dan McLaughlin

A St. Louis native, Dan McLaughlin called his first major league game at 23. His play-by-play work on Cardinals baseball earned him three Mid-America Emmy Awards and 10 nominations. McLaughlin served as the television play-by-play voice of St. Louis Cardinals for 25 years. McLaughlin also called SLU Billikens and Missouri Valley Conference basketball games. Earlier in his career, he served as host for St. Louis Blues hockey coverage. He contributes to FOX Sports Midwest’s offseason coverage of the Cardinals too. McLaughlin is involved in several local charities and hosts the Dan McLaughlin Golf Tournament to benefit the Special Education Foundation, which has raised more than $4 million for children with disabilities. McLaughlin is a 1996 graduate of Lindenwood University, where he played baseball on a scholarship. He is an avid golfer and outdoor sportsman. Dan, his wife Libby and four children make their home in St. Louis.
