Once the cookies come out of the oven press bunny ears into the cookie right next to any M&Ms that are sticking out of the cookie. If you don’t see a lot of visible M&Ms go ahead and press some into the hot cookies then add the M&M halves for ears.

Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire cooling rack.

Yours are adorable so maybe it’s just me, but my bunny ears did not stick to the cookies. My pastel M&Ms turned dark in the oven so they didn’t match the ears and a lot of them cracked. Ended up being a lot of work for not much reward. I don’t think I’ll make them again.

The sharp knife was torturous. I pulled out my pill splitter and things went much smoother. Super cute!
