About M&M Candies
It’s hard to resist the sweetness of M&M’s–they’re colorful, crunchy, and can be used to create a host of delicious desserts as you will see!
M&M’S are small multi-colored button-shaped chocolates and have a candy shell around the chocolate center. They come in many different flavor and color varieties and M&M’s have the signature letter “m” on one side of the candy. This candy slogan “Melt in your mouth, not in your hand” first began in 1954, later after M&M’s was invented in the year 1941 here in the United States.
The invention of the M&M candies were inspired by the British candy called smarties made by the Rowntree company in 1937.
