Born in Thomasville to the late Lilly Wagner Jones and Dillon Jones, Doris was a graduate of Thomasville High School and Woman's College. Doris is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, John Thomas McBride, and sister Peggy Jones, of Wytheville, VA. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Fred Spicer, Jr., of Highland Park, IL, by her sister-in-law Donese McBride and nieces and nephews.
